Christmas Eve 2015

All of the gifts have been bought and wrapped;  all the food has been prepared.   We've been to church where we worshipped with friends who are like family.  Christmas pajamas are on and cookies have been put out for Santa.
In just a few hours the house will be full of excitement and Christmas joy.  I eaglets anticipate their reactions and the fun that is Christmas morning with three kids. I pray that I can take it all in, remember each smile, each giggle, each hug. These days are busy but fleeting and I want to remember every moment.
So I'm off to bed knowing that I have poured love into this holiday but remembering the real reason that we have reason to celebrate at all.
Merry Christmas!
