We did a lot of sleeping. Or at least we tried. Cooper had a bad case of strep throat that kept he and I up a couple of nights. Earl has also been battling a sinus infection and ear infection. And just because we needed more fun - Barkley got neutered this week, too. So sleep. We needed it. I can say that I haven't set an alarm for three straight days and it's been amazing.
We also spent time outdoors when the weather allowed. Also very helpful. A little pre-break Friday breakfast pic. We love when friends join us.
Did I mention a break from games? This was the last UpWard game of the season. No clue how Cooper made it through this one. By the time we got home he was shivering with a fever and looked like death. Did I mention baaaad case of strep. Always the competitor though.
I've been sleeping in Kinley's room for a week since Earl just coughs all night. I now know why old people sleep in separate beds. But I digress. Anyway, these girls. They've spent a few nights camped out with me. I love lying awake talking to them. Listening to them pray together and giggle. I'm glad they have eachother even though some days they aren't so happy with eachother.
The kids have one more day off but it's back to school and work for me tomorrow. I'm not exactly excited to be starting two new classes. However, it is good to know that I am inching closer to my goal.
I also have a goal of uploading Easter pictures tomorrow. What a wonderful day we had celebrating our risen lord.
