We returned to Universal Studios on Day 2 rested (sort of) and ready to go. The one thing that took some planning was making sure that Kinley had fun. The majority of the rides at this park are for the older kids but we managed to keep her smiling. We were able to take her on the E.T. Ride. She wasn't quite sure she liked riding on an airborne bicycle at first, but she made it through and loves to tell the story about it now.
I'm not sure that she knows who Woody Woodpecker is but she was happy to sit for a picture when we found him at this play area.
Another nice area was the Dr. Seuss section which was geared toward the younger kiddos and had a small splash park where they could cool off.
An obligatory picture of Earl and I just to prove that we were actually there!
After taking Cooper to NBA City for his "birthday dinner" we split up guys and girls. The guys wanted to ride all the water rides while the girls wanted a little more Harry Potter time. I don't have any pictures of the boys on their adventures so we will have to take their word that the water rides were their favorites. As for the girls, well, we rode the train one last time....
.....mostly because we needed one last Butter Beer for the road!! This stuff was a cold, sweet cup of butterscotch like nothing I've ever tasted before. Definitely best shared with someone you love!
And so, that is how we concluded our Harry Potter experience, hand in hand, butter beer in our tummies, walking into the sunset. It was a truly magical few days that I am SO, SO glad we had the chance to share. I love you, Kenna! Hope this bucket list adventure was everything you ever dreamed it would be!
