Last Day

It's officially summer!  School ended on Friday afternoon and tomorrow morning we consider ourselves free!   I have to admit to being excited.   Give me a week or so and I might change my mind but for tonight I am ready for some summer fun.

It is slightly ridiculous how fast this year has gone by.   See for yourselves the drastic changes in the kiddos in just one school year.   

   

Last day of third grade!  This girl is not only headed to fourth grade but she's headed to a new school, too!   She is beyond excited!

And this young man (because looking at the picture he sure doesn't resemble little boy anymore) is headed to kindergarten!   Just like his big sister, he is really excited.   And just a teeny, tiny bit nervous.

Here they are Friday morning before heading out.  Goodness....I am so blessed.

I'm praying for a safe and exciting summer.  We've got lots of fun stuff on the books including trips to see some of our favorite people.  In between,  we have come up with a little schedule to keep us occupied.  We are planning weekly crafts and weekly cooking experiments, trips to the library and fabulously fun Friday's!    Otherwise, you can find us lounging by Mimi and Pappy's pool!
