You Do What You Can

Yesterday morning I decided that I wanted to go buy flowers. I needed to replace a few plants in my flower beds and I wanted to get some new things too. Cooper was more than happy to go along since the trip involved dirt, wagons and a chance to see the fish. Oh, and I forgot about all the fountains! Little did I realize that the temperature was creeping toward the 86 degree mark.

We loaded the back of the car with plants of all shapes and sizes and headed home. I had to enlist Cooper's help to deliver the plants to the appropriate spots around the house.

And because we have yet to spring for a swimming pool, I let Cooper fill an empty container with water. I sort of cringed as I watched my water bill rise in front of my eyes. However, it turned out to be money WELL spent. He played in this container of water the entire afternoon and he and McKenna continue to entertain themselves with it as we speak.

You gotta do what you can, right?
